I've noticed of an evening there are generally 80 - 100 members online but not much posting going on!
Is this because you're bored? A lot of the information is already on the forum? Just wish there was more interaction / content?
All comments welcome good or bad ( the photo issue is being deal with)

It is possible that most problems have been discussed over the years but for some new members and owners than these are new faults so the cycle continues. I was a member 10 year ago then lapsed due to no longer owning an E30 but I'm back and still learning .I don't use it but has FB caused the decline in interaction on here ?

I've spoken to a lot forum owners recently and they're all in the same situation. Social media is just so popular at the moment, the new Zone will make a difference as it will offer things that FB doesn't.
The New Zone is also fully responsive so it will fit to any device without the need of taptalk etc..

Ive never been a big poster in forums and social media but do browse them alot. I log on here pretty much everyday. I did go through a short spell of posting a lot on here but had a keyboard warrior ruin my mood over a silly argument that reminded me why I don't post things up often

It basically means the site will adapt to whatever device you're using to view the site on e.g. pc, tablet, phone.

I often don't feel the need to post as most questions I have are solved by searching the Wiki or just bothering to spend 5 minutes to find the answer in an old forum post.
The Zone is an excellent resource, with lots of kind helpful people. I hope with the developments (thanks Steve), it stays around for a long time to come.

When I close down my browser and start it up again it logs in automatically, maybe the system believes 100 users are log in but not all are online.

I haven’t done anything to mine for a couple of years...
Still like to look in though.
Funds and time don’t seem to match.. until sometime soon.
Photo thing is irritating not being able to post or see any but sounds like that’s being sorted

Well, I'm back lurking in the shadows as I look for another E30 after a few years poncing about with a 635 and an E21... It does seem a bit quieter than a few years back but then it is winter still.. So a lot of cars are still hibernating.. I'm sure once people are back out putting some miles on the clock the forum will be full of 'help! My rev counter and fuel gauge have packed up!' or the usual vague 'I've developed a misfire' which is a cue for a 17 page thread suggesting everything from new plug leads to human sacrifice to sort it.. (whilst often breaking down into a row about wheel choice or something between two forum members who aren't the OP)

Ta! Well, my plans are the same as any E30 owner:
Look for a car that doesn't need too much doing but isn't crazy money... view seven cars, (four snotters reliably described as 'rare' and 'investments' and 'rot free' which will all have cracked dashes and mushy sills.. The other three will be tech2's or verts that you don't really want but are looking at because apparently that's all there is left..) buy an unfinished project which a frazzled looking guy sells you with 'just a few bits left to tidy up' as you wonder why he hasn't just finished the few bits off and enjoyed motoring nirvana.. Get home with said purchase and start poking about... (cue 'time passing' montage of clock spinning and speeded up footage of said BMW on the drive on axle stands, off them, back on them, off again, eight wheel changes, three sets of suspension, a million forum posts trying to work out what is making the squeaking noise and why your blower only works on one speed and in the background a huge scoreboard with a big pound sign next to it that represents 'money spent' and quickly looks like a phone number it's got that many digits) then try not to cry as I put up posts laughing about getting the car finished for at least one show before I die of old age...

It's nice to be back anyway Steve.. Hopefully I'll be able to find a money pit that isn't too rotten before long.. I'm enjoying the 4 door action in the sig, are they 17" Kosei 'racing seneka's' I spy!? There used to be a bird who lived near me back in the early 00's with a d reg 325I with a set on! Aah the memories..
