Was thinking of wrapping my manifolds when I get them back from Dan, has anyone else done this to get rid of some heat?
Just thought may as well do it before I fit them back on the car.
Using nodded Corsa linkage with Dan's manifolds and downpipes so clearance should be ok.

done it on my e30 with m52 in
main reason for me was a cooler engine bay which it does do well
disadvantage is it,s a water trap and can make the manifolds rust
had time back again i,d still do it as underbonnet temps are much improved

Only issue I ever found was that it's glass fibre based, (well, the stuff I used was) and it gets everywhere!!!
Itchy as .... - wear gloves and long sleeves - and don't do it in your mums living room

Does work though!!!
