Hello,

Back again to zone and Happy new year friends here.

My e30 325i, has symptoms like one of Cyl loss compression but it is not really only the compression is not perfectly same. Cyl 1 has 150psi and the rest between 140psi.

I have change and rebuilt the engine block with new rings. The big mistake is I'm not replace the wear valve guide and I only install single valve spring that it should be double. Does only install one spring will make lower compression and the symptoms like misfire/one Cyl dead/loss? Thank you. Markus

no, unless you are reving it so high the valves are bouncing. the ETA engines had the single outer spring
