Who is everyone using for insurance? I'm looking at buying an E30 and running it, with the intention to do an M60 swap during the first year. With this in mind i need an insurance company who are open to modifications but will also cover the standard vehicle.
Cheers

I have a specialist policy from Adrian Flux for my track car, which has everything declared including an engine swap.B5234FT wrote:Who is everyone using for insurance? You're going to have to just spend a lot of time ringing around all the specialists, prices vary massively for each individual.
I was with Sky until their prices went stupid, think I'm with Adrian Flux now.

AF also but not super happy with their pricing (London...ballache). Going to start looking in March but not looking forward to entering my details in a robotic way only to come back with stupid quotes so may just stick with them!

Haven't had insurance for a modified car for 2 and a bit years now, but word of warning, AF can be difficult to deal with after you have signed up. I know all insurance companies are only after your hard earned, but Sky were much better than AF. I had sky policy for 3 years!
