E90 indicator wont cancel

have a 2010 3 series, issue i have is that the near side indicator wont stop flashing no matter what i do, the only time it goes off is when i take the key out but then the same side parking light stays on. would it be the indicator stalk ?.
cant drive the car as everyone thinks am turning left even when i want to turn right.

Remove the cowling and have a look , it could be a short or such like.

Rack it up and down might be crud on the contacts, if that doesn't work then its take it out time.
