Not the usual "which is best" thread, that we've had on here many times, but a request from me to give Lancaster insurance a call for a quote, if you're in the market for one. All is explained here: https://www.lancasterinsurance.co.uk/ne ... r-teamant/
For every quote given 1GBP will be donated to Brewer and Ant's charities, with a further 4 GBP donated for every policy purchased.
The charity that concerns me is Brewer's. My wife was diagnosed with the closely related (to Wegener's) Churg-Strauss variant of this disease around six years ago.
By an amazing stroke of good luck, the Specialist she saw at our local hospital had seen one case of this extremely rare disease at another hospital some years before, and recognised the symptoms almost immediately, confirming the diagnosis, and starting treatment the same afternoon, before serious and lasting damage was done. Most health care professionals have never heard of these two diseases, and often many months or even years pass before the diagnosis is made.
She remains in apparent good health, although she becomes easily fatigued, and has to consume a whole line of assorted pills every morning and night to prevent the disease progressing

This has now finished, and has raised £22,500 towards research into the condition, to which Brewer has added another £5000, making £27,500 in total.
Thanks to anyone who raised a pound by asking for a quote.

Have a read of Dr Paul Clayton's book Health Defence, its interesting as he states not many people die of old age but illnesses, there are some good supplements around like Flavon but you can do your own investigations in to them.
I wish your wife well,
