Looking to start my e 30 touring project soon but one thing I am still pondering over is what sort of style kit to finish with, looking at the moment at a mtec kit or a m3 flared arch kit , I have see a few images of both, and I appreciate that the wheels will play part to this, the flared kit would have handles in the back doors and both cost about the same ...any thoughts and input would be welcome

go for the tech 2 kit, it looks really good on a touring.
if it's got t*ts or wheels it's bound to be trouble...............prove me wrong.

thinking due to ease of fitting and general looks the mtec might be a better route, and a bit cheaper in the scheme of things

The mtec kit will maintain the long term value of the car far more than a M3 attempt. Although not original to this particular car, it will be identical to a few produced by BMW.
Must include the tail gate spoiler, though.

Car will be an obvious fake without it.
Guess the £160 I paid for a touring a few years back, with OE mtec II kit was quite good value!

Why have an obvious fake when a less obvious one will do the job better... ;)

Nah, you were done, but because I feel bad for you I'm prepared to buy it from you for the same price.Brianmoooore wrote:Car will be an obvious fake without it.
