First of all this isn't an advert to sell or break my car just looking for a bit of advice on what to do with it.

I have owned an e30 325i touring in lachs silver for just over 11 years and its probably been off the road for about 9 years.
it has been garaged for most of that time but I've got to be realistic and say it will never be back on the road whilst I own it.
I don't have the space to get it sorted and will it be worth doing if I have to chuck a lot of money at it to get it nice .

I have recently moved it out of the garage and now have to decide what to do with it
Its currently a non-runner which is probably down to some messy electrics and old fuel it turns over ok .

Any advice welcome

I have no long bought the same car as yours as a project and it to was off the road around 11 years.
I have thrown money at replacing everything underneath(still need exhaust)and gave the original engine a good service and a few new seals plus all the rot was cut out.

I haven't started on the interior yet and it will need repainted and its cost me a fair bit this far ,properly stands me around 2.5k as it sits including the purchase price which was cheapish with me doing all the work.

I reckon by the time its spray it will owe me around 4.5k and i'll still have the interior to do .
The way i looked at it is you can buy one for that price but it will no doubt have rust somewhere and poss have other issues.I haven't a clue what it will be worth on todays market but i don't plan on selling this one so at least i will know the car from top to bottom was its finished.

If your sure you will never have it back on the road in your ownership it maybe time to let it go.

Don't turn it over too much on a 11+ year old cambelt, or it might suddenly become worth a lot less!

I know it will be worth more in parts than selling as a complete car but I don't know if I've got the heart to take it apart after all these years
I regret taking it off the road in the first place but it no good dwelling on what could of been (sounds like a marriage break up)
