hi: guys

i have 17 schnitzers on my cab with 215/40 tyres.....the wheels are not curbed or damaged but look crap cause they are dirty and some shit is flakin off....i'm thinkin off havin them re-furbished for 130quid (is this a ok price for all 4)?.......also the guy said he can colour code them 4 me same as my car blue?.......for extra charge 20 quid?......i'm thinkin of it?? is this good thing to do?

i hav had the car for long time now i neglected it after usin a 330ci but hav decided to go bak to it and spend some time on it cause e30's without a doubt are the best beemers even now.....

also could i put really wide tyres on them to give it a euro look?

cheers

Ԛ£130 is fair enough I think, most places are about Ԛ£30 a wheel and the cheapest I've seen is Ԛ£25.

Don't colour code them though or people will laugh at you.

Need some pics of these wheels!

where did you get them from?? i've seen sets but only on cars in asia, never over here!! are they type1's or 2's??

you have lots of option but a full colour code could look odd in blue

here you go mate, only 16inch but you will get the idea of how they will look.

these are simply cleaned, the rim polished but not lacquered and the spokes painted with normal car paint and clear coat. the picture is of the wheels about 6 months old, and i have now only just repainted them after 18 months cause i resprayed my car and it was free. note i was advised not to lacquer the polished rim as once anything chips it water gets underneath and it will go yellow. simply clean them with brasso once a weekish and they are still good as new

that sounds a fair price to me, not a fan of colour coded alloys, unless its black which you can pul off but blue??? not to sure of that.
