Hi, my 320i Cabriolet heater is a bit hit and miss. The car was laid up for a month and the heater was cold. The Coolant warning light was on so I topped up the coolant, didn't bleed it, but it went ok and was warm for a couple of days. Just been out in it tonight and noticed heater went cold after 20 mins or so.
If you select the middle slider and turn the other two off, It warms up. Could this be the heater valve problem? Sometimes the passenger floor is wet, thought it was just rain getting in?

Bleed it out and see. Heater on max. Steam not a good sign. Put it back to cold and no steam you know you valve is good and matrix has gone. But renew the lot if you can.

Try k- seal its very good. £10
Sorted the orings leak.

It done me ok for 4years but now the lot has to done on mine. Just old age.

The plastic pipe it normally ok to reuse.
