Ive bought some parts e.g stainless braided brake hoses, rear shock brackets. All looked galvanised (gold) and now look rusty. Would chopper grease or paint them parts had of been done?

galvanised is not gold , usually grey/silver, stainless steel does not rust. i guess you mean copper grease , which would help, for something to rust you need oxygen and water, salt water= faster rusting.
paint obviously help keep them out.

Yes you are correct. I got it the wrong way round. Parts don't look rusty just dull oxidation. Briaded hoses are ok it just the fasteners . Not to bothered but they sell them a stainless steel. Diamond black brake lines.
