M20b25 conversion wiring diagrams

I'm putting a m20 in my 316 I've had a few issues one of witch is I've gone to start it and it won't turn over and no fuel there may be more issues yet I don't know has any got wiring pin out data and fuse/rely data diagrams for a 2.5 m20 and a 316

By far the best circuit diagrams are found here: http://www.autolib.diakom.ru/CAR/BMW/ . The ones in the link above are reminiscent of wiring diagrams aimed at plumbers.
These too, are American, so no M40 engine management diagrams.
Two useful bits of info. would be the age of the engine concerned, and that of the car. Also, do you mean 316 or 316i, which are considerably different cars in the engine bay?

Just found the other post in the wrong forum, now locked, which answers the questions above.
Apart from checking pin 20, as detailed in my 'sticky' 'wiring warning' in the engine swaps forum, the M20 loom should plug straight in with no mods or problems.
The usual problem, when posts similar to this have been made, is that the engine to body earth strap has been left off, or the two battery connections from the engine loom either not connected or connected wrongly.

I don't know the year of the m20 been told it was from a h reg car and it's going into a 316 I lux that's on a h reg so 1990

Okay is pin 20 in the ecu plug or one of the round connectors on the scuttle panel?

On connector C101 - the 20 pin round engine loom to body plug and socket.

Thanks for all the help found the issue nothing as bad as I first thought just a poor earth
