Hi All,

I got my hands on a 555 Fairing, but it's a bit scratched. I'm gonna be putting stickers and such on anyway, so I'm not too concerned, but before I do that I was wondering if anyone knew how easy it would be to polish the plastic to repair the scratches? I'm not even sure if it's really possible but thought I'd check.

Cheers,
Dave

Looks like relatively light damage that should buff out, or at least significantly improve if you were to use a rotary polishing machine and moderately abrasive cutting compound on it, followed up by finer grade polish or glaze.

If you don't have those items, try your local car bodyshop - they'll be able to do it in a few minutes.

Oh cool, thanks for the reply. I don't have those but I can pop by the shop I always use. I was just speaking with them about some detailing anyway.
