How many posts are required to stop being a newbie? I have looked round and can find nothing about user levels specific to the zone.

I could be wrong but I think it is not post count and length of time since signing up.

I think you lose newbie status at 400 posts but I could be wrong.

once your post count reaches a certain level/amount then you lose it the newbie tag.

that or you get a custom title/tag.
if it's got t*ts or wheels it's bound to be trouble...............prove me wrong.

Definitely post count. Not sure of the exact amount, but somewhere around 400 - 500 posts, I think.

Thanks all, I guessed it was posts not time when I saw someone who joined in 2009 had a newbie tag!

It used to be a lot busier on here, so the newbie tag didn't last aslong.

It was easy to rack up 20-30 posts a day, and easy to take over your life.

Hopefully it will change.
