Hello!
New member and I want to see if anyone has had a similiar problem, earlier when I would turn off the ignition the radio would shut off and all of the other equipment in the car.
I bought it with aftermarket alarm and it would also open the car when I shut the engine off, but it does not do that anymore.
I don't know where to begin, is it the ignition itself?

Thanks in advance - Maximilian

Not a known fault, but the back end of the steering lock/ignition switch has a rectangular steel blade sticking out of it, which engages with the plastic electrical part of the assembly. The slot in the plastic part can wear to a bow tie shape over time. This could conceivably result in the switch itself still being in the 'aux' position, when the key is fully off. If the alarm uses the auxiliary feed to determine when to open the car, then that would also explain that part of your problem.
The plug and socket for the ignition switch can be accessed by removing the panel above the driver's knees, and should be in a stack of plugs clipped to the steering column. Pulling this plug and socket apart should confirm if the ignition switch is at fault. The wires should be plain red, plain green, plain purple and black/yellow one side, plain black the other.
