How the hell do you remove the old tweeters, did a pair years ago and it seemed easy these ones seem to be welded in place, I also can't remember if the grills can be removed, any help appreciated. Ta.

I had to seriously destroy everything behind the grill and trash the old drivers, used a dremmel and knife - it was hell, but got them out eventually.
Never tried to remove grills for fear of trashing them too.
No other advice other than controlled rage and violence!!!

A job I've only done once, and the old tweeters came out without much resistance. Perhaps BMW used more than one supplier, and that makes the difference.

These ones have the standard Nokia tweeters fitted will have a fettle in the morning.
