This week has seen more progress

thats the result so far, engines covered 185 miles. I'm over the moon with that result as M20s are a pain to get decent power and this is a great figure in my experience over the years. Its a good old grunty thing and revs very freely on the top end. Still needs some tweeks but all in the right direction.

Rare sight of it out in the wild

then today i've had the tracking done, front spoiler removed so it could get on the ramp!

And the air con gassed up so how that is. I've retro fitted this from another E30, so its 100% a factory setup but not original to the car from new. Well fook me it blows mega cold. First time i've had an E30 with air con that works. So a modern touch for summer. Was 5.7 degrees on their thermometer
All in the right direction, sorting snags still. Next will be getting 5 wheels refurbed and some new tyres all round so ££££!

Great power output from an M20, very close to what the M30B35 puts out.

Its a fair old job and can be expensive. I've fitted all new lines, condensor and dryer/seals. The worst bit is taking the fuse box apart and fitting the loom into it. The rest is plug and play if you can get a complete kit. As there are alot of parts to a complete kit. I removed mine from a touring me and Trevor broke. Plus the front valance is different! Alot of the electric fans are seized or the resistor is broken and only work on 1 speed
