Standard MC on my 325i has these bore sizes:

22,20/17,46MM

Which bore size do I use in a pressure calculator, and does anyone know how the MC is arranged internally? I found a few cutaway drawings but they don't look right to me. Is one bore for front and one for rear, or is the larger for initial larger volume feed to take up the "slack"

Just curious.

The smaller bore is the one furthest into the cylinder, otherwise it would be impossible to assemble.
The line pressure developed by each section is proportional to the square of the diameters.
22.20 x 22.20/17.46 x 17.46 = 492.84/304.85 = 1.62
