Hi All,
I'm new to the forum so firstly hello!

I have just bought a 1988 325i Cabriolet and although the car is in generally good nick, the roof is worn and in need of replacement. Whilst I have found a host of companies online selling replacement roofs who claim it is a simple enough job, I'm not convinced I'm up for it. 8O

So 2 questions:
Can anyone recommend the best roof as there are loads at various prices?
Can anyone recommend a company in Gloucestershire or Somerset who can carry out a replacement for a sensible price?
Cheers

I sourced a complete roof in the end from Z3I but a couple of members on here have used them, speak to Gert about his experiences, getting the roof fitted not his other "experiences"

i used jack smith to replace a roof on a rover 216 convertible he had the car for 2 weeks when I was away on holiday and he kept it locked away in his other garage safe and sound , people come over from Ireland to have their roofs done by him , I would recommend him anytime ,

Carhood people will do a great job with fitting a new roof, but if it's electric they will mess it up.

I also recommend you get the straps replaced, but once again Carhood don't guarantee this will resolve any roof folding issues. :)
