Hi
I Am after some advice, are all m20 throttle bodies the same eg 320/325 I'm guessing the bore is different but I am only after the side plate and fixings e.g. Springs washes spacers etc to build up my own 325i bbtb
Thanks scott[/code]

You can use this website to cross reference parts - this is a facelift 325i throttle, find the part numbers you want, then search that number to see what vehicles they were fitted too.

You can also search this site in the genuine parts forum to get a rough idea of there current price, or buy them !

Thanks for your reply I forgot about real oem I had a look on etk BMW which shows it as one item, i will use the diagram to build my bbtb up, to be honest was asking if the m20 throttle bodies are the same parts wise as a 320 is cheaper then a 325 one second hand, I did not do the work on the bbtb I bought it in bits so don't wanna spend a lot on it if it is scrap

yeah i understood what you meant, but you check whats cross compatable by clicking on the seperate parts of the 325i body.

it will then tell you all the models that have that part fitted, be it e28's e21's or e30's which you want - so click e30 and it will tell you every e30 model with that part.

For instance clicking on part 2 the main swing arm it show that as being 325i specific - but bar that and the main gasket i think most parts from a 320 will fit - youll have to check - unless someone can just tell you outright
