Hi, I've just purchased a race land manifold for my 92 touring 325i which has cats, does this make it a 2 piece system and the manifold only fits a 3 piece system? The manifold is in 3 pieces the two headers and a x pipe, does anybody know if I can get it to fit or am I wasting my time?
Thanks scott

Cut and weld is the unfortunate answer.

The cat can be removed without affecting anything. Are you sure you have a 2 piece exhaust?

As far as I'm aware I have a 2piece exhaust unless it's been welded up already, I've got the cast manifold, then the down pipe from the manifold to after the cat then from there to the back box? This is what I can see from lying on the floor, I've checked on Real oem and it looks the same as the cat exhaust on there

If you really want to fit the manifold with no fuss you could swap to a 3 piece system.

Are you in the UK, and what's the build date of the car and date of first use?
