brake M/C identification

afternoon folks.
just been down to a scrap yard i know thats got an e30 in,
now the thing is i noticed it had a nearly new brake master cylinder fitted (along with a new servo), so i measured it (had some vernier calipers in my box) & here's where i'm stumped.
the back of the cylinder (nearest the servo) is 33/34mm in diameter & the front is a bit slimmer at 27mm diameter.
but from what i can see there's no numbers stamped on it like you would expect.
i'm not near my own e30 so can't measure the cylinder on mine (sat in the car waiting for the rain to quit).
so, are these the measurements of a standard M/C or it is a larger aftermarket one???

if it's the later then i'm having it :D
if it's got t*ts or wheels it's bound to be trouble...............prove me wrong.

Probably an aftermarket or from a different car, originals are usually the same outside diameter along the length from memory

that was what i was thinking, with the engine running on the car the pedal feel was pretty firm but shorter than stock, also it was running rx7 calipers aswell.

safe to say the whole setup (calipers, braided lines, disks & M/C & servo) are now safely tucked away in the shed for a price i thought was an insult to the yard owner.
