Never been away for the site but sold my e30's a few years back.

I went to see a 325ia touring today that a guy had up for sale as a project.
He got it from his uncle after it sat on the drive for 11 years

Anyway he's had it 2 years now (so off the road 13 years in total)
He fitted fuel lines ,fuel filter and oil change to get it running and thats as far as he got.

Not had a look under it yet but from what i can see outside and felt around the boot pockets and front jacking points it aint that bad at all.

Picking it up next Saturday so will know how bad it is then, enough morsels to warrant the price if its a basket case.

All going well i plan to change it to manual ,renew all suspension parts, renew braking system, remove the engine for a full service and gaskets where needed, tidy up the interior ,new tyres and wheels refurbed, and sort out any paint work needed.

Fingers crossed its no to far gone i really miss driving an e30.

Got the car home and on a ramp yesterday.
Needs welding at both front jacking pionts (still the originals )
Needs welding at both rear pockets (not as bad i thought they would be)
Battery tray is gone and there is a hole under the fusebox.

The rest seems solid but no got the seats and carpet out yet but it isn't a breaker.

Putting together a spare rear end and and front suspension components atm so i can have it all sand blasted/painted and refurb with all new parts, so i have them ready to fit when the old stuff comes off.
All brake and fuel lines will also be replaced with new and the underside will get a fresh underseal will its all off.

Actually looking forward to getting stuck in about it (that wont last tho lol)
