Evening chaps.
I've been away for a few years,
The E30's have all gathered a lot of dust, and my couple of bootfulls of parts are now slowly going on eBay as I realise that life is never going to be simple enough to chill out in the garage restoring old cars.
So, the big question that keeps rattling back and forth through my head, should I sell my BTB 3 exhaust manifold.
I got in on a group buy back in 2009 and have the original receipt kicking around somewhere but so far all it has done is look freaking awesome hanging on my lounge wall and gather dust.
I honestly worry that it will never find itself bolted to an M20 under my ownership and that seems a waste.
I've got the purple label E46 clubsport rack to go with it as well.
So I guess this is a bit of a 'what's it worth' post. And a 'please can someone convince me to keep it' or 'who wants to loan me a few grand for a nice touring restoration thread' post.
What do we think?
Cheers for any input.
Should I sell my BTB3??

Welcome back to the Zone
Keep it ! Doesn't sound like you want to sell the E30s, so you will fit it one day, I've still got parts I've not fitted and owned them for 10+ years. The BTB will always be worth money not matter how long you keep it for.
Unless you really need the money?

Thanks Steve, it's nice to be back.
I've had a browse every couple of years to see how things are getting on.
The old 320i touring was laid up out of the weather for about 4 years most recently.
Stuck a battery on it and it fired up after about 20 seconds of cranking.
They just don't make them like that anymore.
I think you're right, the BTB should maybe be the last thing to go if I do decide to sell up.
For now, clear all the surplus crap and see how the budget stretches out I guess.
It's good to see a lot of old faces still on here.

You never know what is round the corner. About two or three years ago I sold a car full of boxes of parts for 300. I thought I would not have another e30. I was wrong!! The stuff I sold was worth 600 at least and I now own another e30 project. It's funny how it goes.
Keep everything and put your car back on the road for a while. You'll be back on here daily again before you know it.
