Not For Sale!....however I need to put a sensible value on my cab, I've owed for 10 years now, any ideas what value I should put? just to reiterate its not for sale and you wont see it advertised any time soon, I just need to ask your help in an insurance guide price.
65k from new, wrong colour wheels, small hole in the roof, stone chips on the valance....but other than that its how you see it in the photos

Bubble Leather, nice.
Must be worth over £10k easy.

Thanks for that SexyLady, I appreciate your input. Cannot find anything else out there similar to get a comparison.
Put the right wheels on, take the eyebrows off and get it insured for £15k (then you can put it all back if you want!!)

If this is for a 'normal' insurance policy, rather than an agreed value one, then in the event of a claim, the insurance company won't take the slightest notice of what you have valued it at, unless you have pitched it lower than their derogatory figure, which will relate to a thirty year old banger.
Hi All,
Just thought I would update the tread. So I took your kind advice and valued it at £15k for insurance purposes. The policy I went for was with Lancaster with the optional extra payment for 'agreed valuation' I sent them all the photos, pics of speedo, engine bay, the paperwork files etc. They have sent me an agreed valuation certificate for £10000 so their opinion is £5k less
I do wonder though having only paid £170 fully comp with agreed val if its more to do with the cost of the premium versus the value of the object.....
Take care all

Don't take their first offer, I have mine on agreed value for £20k set for 2 years. The first offer they came to me with was £12K. Lucky for me at the time it was set there were some on sale for £20k+ and some just under. Sent them the for sale ads and the photos, detailed description of all the extras and was all good.
