Steering rack conversion

The seals have gone on my power steering rack and im gathering parts to swap to an e46 rack. Im not keen on the purple tag clubsport rack as i understand you need vented threads on the inner rod. If possible i would like to use my e30 track rods as theyre quite new.

The dilemma i have is choosing which e46 rack, the breakers have told me besides the purple tag there is a blue, green, gold, and silver! The green i believe is an e46 m3 but what about the others? Do they all have the same turn to lock? Any help would be appreciated as im going to get one tommorow

I've used purple rack and e30 inner and outer track rods and no issues.

I took my e30 inners to a local engineering shop & brought an e46 one for them to replicate the vents. Did it while i waited & cost £15.
