Hey guys,

I am aware there are 2 different flavours of rear wheel bearings, I have gotten myself the correct ones, 75mm's however I need to also buy a hub.

In my search all I can find is 39mm, or at least listed as 39mm shaft size however the old one that came off is 42mm OD.

Is this simply an error on the site or is there a 41/42mm hub available that I just have not been able to find?

I'm converting a 316i auto at the mo, long story but I "lost" the rear hubs from the 2.5 rear arms I had. So I pulled the hubs out of the 316i and hay presto they fit the wheel bearings I bought for the 2.5.

Because of that I thought some paint was in order.

If you could that would be awesome! by the sounds of it the site have the measurement wrong.

Its strange as ABS cars had the bigger bearings I believe, but my rear arms do not appear to be ABS yet also take the bigger bearing

Those are from a H reg 316i with drum brakes and no ABS.

They fit 2.5 drive shafts and they fit inside the 2.5 bearings.

I'll measure tomorrow morning and report.

The circumference of the hub which goes into the bearing is 123mm

The circumference of the 316i output shaft is 93mm

The circumference of the 325i output shaft is 93mm

The output shaft was measured around the splines

The circumference of the shafts are different but that's it.

Thank you so much. From this I can only assume that there is an error on the site listing the diameter incorrectly!
