Hi,
I took off the diff to give it a good clean and paint the case. Also, changed the output flange seal and O-ring.
The problem I have is that if I tighten the transmission cover bolts, the prop shaft wont move. If I keep them a bit loose prop shaft rotates fine. However the output shafts move fine regardless the bolts are tight or loose.
Is there a certain torque / sequence required to bolt the transmission cover.
Thanks

I am not sure if I am refering to the correct part name but on real OEM its called transmission cover with M8 hex bolts.
Just found the torque settings on e30 zone but could't figure out which one applies to these bolts.

The rear cover should be torqued up by first tightening an opposite pair of bolts, then tightening the next pair in one direction, followed by the pair in the opposite direction, in line with good engineering practice for tightening anything secured by multiple fixings, and the final torque is far from critical - just the torque applied by comfortable pressure on a 'normal' length spanner, but however you do it shouldn't lock the pinion shaft.
Try removing the speedo. sensor.
