Chaps- can anyone help me with a photo or video of how the coolant hoses should look and run on my 325, as the previous mechanic was a rough tosser and there is a t-piece and hacked pipes in the set up that don't correspond to the exploded diagram on real OEM, and i basically don't trust anything that this Muppet has ever done to the car!

What year is it? The cooling system changed when they facelifted the E30.

The car is an 85 323i but the engine is, i believe an '88 from a 325i sport
The rad, to my mind is the original and i think is too small, and upon doing some more digging i see there are two types of water pump- mine only has one place for the hose to attach and this is where the t- piece has been fudged in with the rad top hose and the bigger hose from the pill shaped header tank near the o/S strut top
