Hi,

Just tried starting the car, it ticks once and I can hear fluids moving around in the hoses in the engine bay but no spark and doesn't seem like the engine is trying to turn or anything. Battery is fine. Wipers work instrument lights come on.

Could anyone provide some help please. M10 engine 1.8 prefacelift.

Check battery connections and engine earth.

Thanks, managed to sort it. Turns out I forgot to tighten one of the bolts on the starter.
