After finally having my car painted and done up, i towed/drove it from the garage where it was parked to home and the automatic transmission light ( orange circle with ! Mark) turned on. I turned the car off and started it the next day and the
Light is off.
The car has not been driven in 2 years at all, just been started afew times in between.
Any idea on what i should do or know what is wrong??
Thanks

Cross fingers would be my best suggestion.yaad wrote: Any idea on what i should do ??
I wouldn't take much notice of a 'one off' warning light appearing after the car has been subjected to 'unusual conditions'.

Was about 2.5/3miles. Majority of the distance was towed although initially i started it and drove same time, max speed hit probably 15mph for about 1 mile before i just towed the rest. Did have the car started for about 20mins before to get it warmed up. a˜a˜

I've included the towing in my 'unusual conditions'. I can't see how towing would put the light on, but then I don't know exactly what parameters the transmission ECU monitors, or what sensors it has to do so, before it decides to do so.
If it's a one off, don't worry.
