One of the rear electric windows has stopped working on my touring. I fitted the electric mechanisms last year and they were all fine, but sometime recently one has given up.

The switch lights up and I can hear the motor strain when the up switch is pressed (the window is closed) but there's nothing when pressing the down switch. I've tried a working switch from one of the other windows but still no joy.

Is this likely to be a motor issue?

Cheers

BOTH switches for a rear window have to be in working order for that window to work.

Thanks Brian.
You mean both front and rear switches for that side?

Yes, the one in the front console and the one in the rear door card. Both have to be good.
