Gentlemen, new guy here in Dallas, Texas, USA. Have E30 just reviving from 5 years of HPDE use. Did first race couple weeks ago, very frist upgrade must be wheels. Still running the 14" bottle caps. How wide a wheel can I use, gonna stay with the stock hubs, don't mind using spacers and fender rolling. Presumably will go to 15" wheels and I'd like to run tires 225 wide. Will this fit? Thanks,
Chuck
Wider wheels for E30 - what fits?

Tyres in that size are rare. 15x7 is standard for many higher spec E30s - 16x8 fits if the offset is right, although I've experienced some rubbing on facelift arches with lowering springs (none on standard M3 springs).

15 x 8j ET 24 will fit with no fender rolling
9j wheels with an ET of 18-15 will fit too, but may need the fenders rolling
