Hey Guys,

I am doing an E to I swap. The car is an 86 e and the engine is an 87 m20b25.

I am doing my last hook ups and do not see how to connect the coolant pipe to the heater core.

The engine looks like it takes a supply from the thermostat to the throttle body and from there to the back of the block.

In pictures I see the coolant hose going from the thermostat to the heater core, and on the way out it connects to the top of the head. My head does not have an inlet for this.

Any work arounds on how to hook it up? Or am I even doing it right?

Thanks.

Coolant supply for the heater COMES (the opposite way around from what you're thinking) the back end of the cylinder head.
Are you saying you have a M20B25 head without part 15, or any provision for fitting it?

Found it. Looks like my stupid mechanic didn't put it in when he fitted the engine back in after the rebuild. Looks like I will be trying to get it in with the limited space that is there.

Thanks buddy
