Hello!
I decided to swap my engine (M10 1.6 -> M10 1.8i).
My car is in my friend's garage for more than a month, already. We managed to start the engine, but it shuts down after few seconds on idle or instantly after revving.
The air filter is brand new, the fuel pump is brand new, the lambda sensor is brand new, the MAF sensor and FPR are from car that worked normally. What should I check? What might be the problem?
Thanks!

If I read your post correct you have converted carb to injection?...assume you have also retro fitted the fuel pump etc- I recall carb models and injection models had different fuelling set ups.

Yes, the ECU is the one that came with the engine. The fuel pump is new, bought according to OMW catalogue number, the lambda sensor as well.
