Does anyone know which two horns would be correct for a 1990 Euro spec M3 ? There's a multitude of different horns in the ETK and I don't have old parts to get a part number from.
Some have a mounting bracket attached, so guess this may vary depending on model/location ?
Thanks
Getting the horn

Is that an OE BMW loom then, magpie? All the single/twin horn E30s I've dealt with have had different whole body looms, and, indeed, different bodyshells to suit the number of horns.
Pre facelift loom??

It just plugs in at the single horn plug in the middle of the front grills .
i can't remember which year car i removed it from but it's a full BMW twin horn conversion .

I have the wiring, just need the correct two horns. They are only 19 -30 Euro each new.
I guess any combo of a low and high tone will work as they seem to all be 510 or 410hz

As long as they have the correct connectors. Single horns usually have two ordinary 1/4" 'lucar' type connectors, while twins have waterproof two pin sockets.BMG wrote: I guess any combo of a low and high tone will work as they seem to all be 510 or 410hz
