yeah don't move this thread yet...

it was about the officially twistiest road in the UK being down here in the south (can't believe it myself... what about Wrynose pass in the Lake District?)

anyway somewhere on the Dorset border called zig-zag hill?

Well the story cuts to a close-up of a bloke sitting in a conv with the top up, and the interior looks rather familiar... off he goes and it's only a late E30 325 conv with BBS and black leather and m-tech2 steering wheel... (shame it's an auto)

they do lots of shots of him doing the hairpins.... at about 20mph, and no exhaust note to be heard :(

still fantastic to see that someone chose that car to do the film instead of a modern tin-box :D

zig zag is fantastic when free of muppets and mad super-moto riders.the rest of the road not bad.for a good blast though the cranbourne chase is fantastic.link to[/url]http://www.streetmap.co.uk/newmap.srf?x ... &ay=117500

nice maplink

here's my favorite road (though I haven't been there for a long long time)
and not only is it very twisty, you tend to be looking out over nothing (huge drop) as you sweep round the corners...

and it leads to Hardknott Pass

HA HA!!!! That's less than 30 mins from me!!!!

SHaftesbury features "hovis hill" from the hovis ads (duh!!)

May be worth a trip before the roads dry and warm up!!

Time for a "sunrise slide" or a "dawn drift" hehehe
