I need to get a steering wheel recovered - I have seen lots of positive feedback for Royal Steering Wheels, so likely to use them.

Has anyone had a wheel recovered in suede (I think it's suede and not alcantara) like the Sport Evo - my track car came with one of these wheels and it was pretty worn out and I ended up selling it.

Also thinking about having the tri colour stitching on the wheel - has anyone else had this done?

I had my steering wheel done just how I wanted, the guys at Royal Steering Wheels did not disappoint.

Highly recommended.

Suede/alacantra looks very nice when new but will be ratty in no time. Stick with leather.

My friend has his Mitsi Evo X wheel trimmed by Royal and the finish is top notch. He had them flat bottom it, with perforated leather at 10 and 2, with Nappa and 12 and 6 and white stitching. Far better than the OEM wheel and quick turnaround

Had exactly that done by Royal for my M3.

I would have rather had suede as per OEM sport evo but no one who trims steering wheels seems to do suede, only alcantara.
