I'm looking to raise up my suspension a little (Eibachs in London = tough life) and am thinking to get H&R Sports since I've liked them before. I THINK there seems to be a US Sport, and non-US Sport spring - the latter having a slightly lower drop.

So a few questions:

1. H&R lists the part number 50406 (http://www.hrsprings.com/application/se ... Suspension) BUT this part number doesn't seem to appear anywhere in the UK.

2. How legitimate is this as it seems cheap - part number is 29664-1

http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/231356197277? ... EBIDX%3AIT

3. How accurate do you think these are? http://e30performance.info/viewtopic.php?t=1357

Thoughts are appreciated!

Bought my H&R sport (RED) springs about 7yrs ago and had no problems in London. The ones I bought were the M3 spec. Blue springs I believe are race spec.

Also depends on what dampers you are using...

Well this was an interesting response from H&R:

Thank you for your e-mail.

For the E30 M3 there is no spring available in Europe.
The only option is the H&R USA spring 50406 which you can only buy from the USA directly.

Reason: The M3 hardly has any spring travel left when lowered so it will easily hit on the bump stops while driving. As this does not match the European and German spec for official approval, we never made springs for the car over here.
The only option for the M3 is the height adjustable coil over with part number 29726-1.
