Evening,
I have a leak from the electric sunroof as the cushion that I use on the drivers seat to support the small of my back is regularly damp. Directly above it is the rear edge of the sunroof hatch.
I've checked the 2 drain holes at the front gulley of the hatch and they're flowing OK. I have had the sunroof out of the car before when I was addressing the saggy roof lining problem, which was along time ago, and the leak has only just developed.
The damp seat seems to occur when I park my car on the slope of my driveway. Rear of the car down, front slanted up.
The rear top face of the sunroof is currently sitting fractionally lower than the main body of the roof. I intend to loosen off the adjusting bolts and push the rear edge up a bit to try and get it tighter... but....
My questions are:
Are there additional drain holes for the gulley at the rear side of the hatch that I can't see.
Is it a common thing for the sun roof seal to need replacing.
Thanks all.

Sunroof is not intended to and does not keep out all water!
Water that gets through drips into fixed gutters at the front and sides, but at the rear there is a sliding gutter section that is attached to the rest of the sliding mechanism by a short link at each end.
Chances are that one of the links has become disconnected, either by not being refitted properly at some time, or as a result of rust.
