does anyone know the i.d and o.d of the vac lines on an m20?
i know there are a few different sizes and real oem wasnt much help
M40 rightness if you can get to 6000rpm noone can hear your tappets

can you be more specific of which ones? ive check various ones and real oem tell the size

Well i was hpoing to replace the lot wih silicone to be honest.
Not for any added benifit, only that ive given the engine bay a refresh and wanted to tidy them all up.
For example the icv lines, tb heater and tocker cover to tb.
Im nearly sure the inlet to fpr is 3.5mm?

ICV line is a hard plastic moulded piece, the valve cover breather is rubber moulded not going to be easy to replace those with silicone without kinking it and the diameter is not uniform.

The vacuum line for FPR is 3.5x1.8

Samco make a water hose kit but it is expensive to get just for looks, there are ebay cheapies around but meh
