I bought another Sport over the weekend and it has air con.

Unfortunately I do not have a picture of it and won't have for a good few weeks, however the centre console section above the ashtray has some weird vent - it looks factory although I have never seen one before.

Can anyone shed any light on this?

Thanks.

Dealer fit air con which is often a poorly fitted system made by Diavia which you can't get part for easily.

Ive yet to see an E30 fitted with it that works.

The real issue is how it's fitted. Often lashed in with fixings that lead to rot. At least in the 2 cars I've seen with it fitted

yes normally the pipes can be routed through in a different place to the factory system, the wiring can be very shoddy from the car i had with it fitted

Cheers Simon - I'll have a good look at it before it goes back on the road.

Both of the ones I have seen were installed with tech screws into the inner wings, which then caused major rot in those areas
