Anyone in Scotland look at this for me?

I'm based in Cheshire - so it's about 7 hours each way just to view it!

So........I was wondering if there was anyone nearby who knows their E30's and would take a look at this car for me in the first instance. If it's an obvious lemon, it saves me a massive journey wasted, but if it's solid and in good order - I'm prepared to make the journey.

I'm happy to cover some of your travelling time / cost (within reason - I don't expect something for nothing).

PM me if it's easier.

Ask for some pictures of the paint blemish on the sunroof. If it's a rust bubble, chances are the roof will be crusty too

Try Nickso, he's up there and can spot a rusty turd at 20 paces. There's also young Euan but I can't recall his name on here.

Retrimmed BMW recaro front seats isn't exactly a downside. Rear bench needs replaced though.

its not the market that I'm questioning, it's your perception of value. Save your coin for an Alpina or Hartge, they are much better investments and much better cars.

To me that re-trim doesn't look fabulous from the pics. It was that back seat that was my main observation though! For that kind of money I would want a correct seat in it. Only my opinion, of course.
