question for sport owners

hi , i've recently been to look at a sport for sale at london which was advertied as very good condition, which it was on the appart from a few stone chips.

but when i looked under neath the rear sill had started to rust and had a hole in it and the rear arches had previously been filled and blown over.

what am realy asking is is this what am likely to find on any remaining sports??

this is only the second i've looked at and i dont want to walk away only to find it was "the one"
