Just wanted to give people the heads up on the following user @Burningalive409.

Over 2 months ago I purchased the coilovers off the car he was breaking in this add on the forum http://www.e30zone.net/modules.php?name ... c&t=270360

Took 3 weeks for him to eventually post them to which my hermes quickly lost them!!

To no fault of the sender I asked him to file a claims procedure hoping he had insured the package...

(My Hermes customer service is horrendous by the way)

I could no longer contact my hermes as I wasn't the account holder so it was up to the sender to sort out. He was last with checking for responses but finally it felt like we were getting somewhere as they asked for proof of purchase so the funds could be seen being exchanged between the two of us, he issued this. Then he blocked me via phone and social media.

I contacted my hermes tonight and they told me the matter was resolved so I am lead to believe he has now stolen the £600 monies which was intended to reimburse me plus the initial £600!!!!

Please steer clear guys!

Any advice would be greatly appreciated

I purchased the map light mirror from him. Seemed to be a pleasant enough chap. Must have just got him before he went rogue. :)

I had problems with the stuff I bought not turning up on time - then when it eventually did there were bits missing. Communication is not his strong point. He was, however, honest and we did, in the end sort it out. He and I met and completed the transaction in person. He confessed he is selling and buying a house at the moment - hed bought a replacement car for his smashed car and the engine ceased so it was scrapped, doesnt work in an office - instead he is out on various sites all the time and that made it difficult to organise breaking a car. He also confessed a local lad had turned up and made him an offer for the entire car and that made it much better for him so he did that.

I am not defending any of the above actions - I can empathise - I was nearly 3 months waiting for some car parts from Aberdeen to Edinburgh (just over 2 hours driving) - I am however adding some further information on the situation as he explained it to me when we met.

Hope you get it sorted out. Keep trying.
