Hi all,
Is the centre console (bit round the gear stick) the same on Auto and Manual?
Going to do a conversion and wondering if I need a new console or not.

according to bmwfans.info it doesn't show any difference (no different part numbers) so i would say it's the same,
i could be wrong though.

Definitely the same, but the auto version has a small metal bracket attached to it that will shred your gear lever gator if not removed.
