Hi guys thought I'd post on here and not on the Facebook page.
Iv got a 1993 318i convertible and have put a M20b25 in to it.
The lump is a early m20 with the motronic 1.0 management system I could not get it to start or run so converted it to motronic 1.3 and is now running good.
Iv fitted a facelift manifold with the 4 studs to connect to down pipe.
I'm finding it really difficult to find a exhaust system do I need the 2 or 3 part exhaust I want to keep it looking standard but would like it to sound nice.
I don't want to spend a fortune on one.
Any suggestions of where to get a exhaust and which one I need.
Looking for advice and were to buy M20 exhaust system

I would go custom. There was a place in Enfield called Torque and a place in St Albans called Emp Performance. You choose the style of tail pipes, the sound and what sections you want changed etc. Life time guarantee etc
Returned after many years out.
I did the same manifold change on my 1984 323i. I then got a local place to make me up a stainless system. It turned out very well. I paid about $950.00 Australian. The difference after changing the manifold and system is good. The original 3 stud manifolds were hopeless. The new system is not too loud.
