Hi chaps,

I have a e30 325i auto.

I will getting a M52 engine swap done from a guy who is 150 miles from me. But before I send it down the body work is going to be restored and I want the engine bay prepping and painting too.

Question is, what needs to stay in the original engine bay?

Can I get everything removed?

Please advise??

Thanks

Your question is a bit on the vague side if you dont mind me saying!

Are you relocating your battery?

What is the guy doing the swap suggesting?

Are you not more concerned with finding rust / holes than what the bay will look like?

There is a minimal look where everything is removed - brackets and clips holes are blocked up etc then the bay is re painted etc. Have a look on here - or google and you'll see.

Depends on what parts you want to use and how you want to mount them
