Just wanted to ask what type/colour antifreeze to use in an m52?

Green. Think BMW dealers stock it. Or Comma Xtreme G48 is equivalent.

I remember the one I bought from BMW a while back was blue, will it be a problem if I use the green one now?

Shouldn't be a problem as long as the system is flushed when bled and refilled :)
