I've ordered a set of m3 rear wings. Anyone have any experience with how long back order items can take to be reproduced or is it a how long is a piece of string?
Thanks
Ross

It's a case of how long is a piece of string. It depends on how many other people order the same part. I waited just over a year for an E30 M3 front brake back plate which came through eventually. I've been waiting for a set of Mahle BBS wheel centre caps for about 18 months now with no indication of a delivery date....

Friends who work in the parts department can be useful. I just hope that price is locked in so to speak, so when it comes to them being reproduced it doesn't suddenly shoot up

This ^^ I waited nine months for a pair of backplates, the first estimate was two months and it kept getting put further back, they wait until they have a big enough order to warrant reproduction.anothere21323i wrote:It's a case of how long is a piece of string. Prefacelift saloon convertible / saloon is identical apart from bumper mounting bracket holes. 100% usable with no dramas.
